RBC's Field Employees

RBC has had the advantage of employing former Vocational Building Construction students from Rob's former classes as well as more recent graduates. Our employees are valued team members who make all our projects better. Some of our best employees have been with us for over 17 years!

Robert G. Boram, CR
Owner/President
Job Duties include: Chief Operations Officer and Sales

Rob started the company in 1984 after a 12 year career in education as a vocational building construction instructor at Brooke High School in Wellsburg, WV.  Previous to his educational career, he had 25 years of construction experience during high school summer vacations and while attending college.

His commitment to “Design/Build services” was influenced by his college degree of Industrial Arts/Drafting Specialization at Fairmont State College, Fairmont, WV.  His focus on “Customer Satisfaction” is the driving force that takes our clients from the “design inception to the finished well-crafted project”.

Education remains a priority in his remodeling career with membership in the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).  Rob has served various positions in the Pittsburgh chapter, leading seminars, and networking with fellow remodelers throughout the United States.  Through NARI, Rob maintains his yearly certification certificate of being a Certified Remodeler (CR).  Also as a professional in the industry, Rob has been published in various national magazines and received both local and national awards for his accomplishments.

Paula Boram

Owner/Secretary/Treasurer
Job Duties Include:  Chief Executive Officer, Marketing, and Personnel Director

Paula joined Rob at RBC in 1989 after a 15 year career in education teaching biology and serving as a guidance counselor at BHS.  She also coordinated a federal drop out prevention program at RESA VI in the Northern Panhandle region.

Paula has also committed to the educational value of networking with fellow remodelers from around the country.  In the local community, Paula is active in her chapter of P.E.O. an International women’s educational group and represents the company in the local chambers of commerce.

Jacie Gaston

Office Manager

Jacie started with RBC in August of 2004 after a 27 year career at Weirton Steel Corporation.  While there she was an Accounts Receivable Analyst manifesting invoices, cash applications and maintaining customer accounts.

Jacie is usually the first person you will talk to when calling RBC.  She will take the lead information from potential clients as the first step of the RBC sales process.  She is also responsible for the general accounting, payroll and forms.

Jacie lives in Wellsburg with her husband, Dave Gaston and their daughter Klair.  Her son Adam attends Fairmont State College and her stepson, Davey works as a carpenter assistant for RBC. Jacie is active in the Wellsburg Christian Church and serves as their Treasurer.

Ken Russell

Production Manager

Ken earned a specialized technology degree from Pittsburgh Technology Institute. He has over twenty years of construction experience with a strong emphasis in Project Management, design, and estimating; primarily in residential and light commercial construction.

Ken's philopsophy is fairly clear: "I consider properly detailed plans and budgets to be the foundation for a project to be a success for the owner as well as the builder. The unknown will always exist in a remodeling project, however great planning provides security and flexibility at once."

Ken, his wife Linda, and son Jacob all reside in Weirton, WV and are past customers of Rob Boram Construction. 'Rob and the RBC team were so knowledgeable, professional, and helpful during our home reconstruction project, that I decided to work with them!"

Jason Hornick

Estimator

Jason has moved within the organization from Lead Carpenter to the Estimator position. He is now serving in the capacity to help sales and customers with estimating projects and CAD drawings. Jason has the distinct advantage with knowledge of construction and knowing the detail that is required of every RBC estimate.

Jason resides in old Short Creek, WV with his fiancée, Tara, and their adorable son, Garrett. When not working on his own house, he keeps busy in the outdoors hunting, fishing, and “four wheelin”.
